JOSEPH J. PIRAINO SR. age 82 of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, New York.  He was born the son of Ross and Margaret (Zaso) Piraino on November 27, 1941 in Mount Morris New York.  He was a lifelong resident of Mount Morris. Prior to his retirement he worked for the Rochester Labor's Union Local #435 in Rochester, New York.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Faith Piraino.  Many nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends.   He was predeceased by his son Joseph Piraino Jr. in 1982, 5 sisters Frances Rodgers, Mary Lubert, Lucy Brado, Rose Federico and Elizabeth Brado and 4 brothers Frank, Orlando, Russell and Peter Piraino.

Friends may call Monday March 25 from 12 – 2 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, New York, where funeral Services will be held Monday at 2 pm.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mount Morris, NY.  Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.  Sign the online registry at
