JOSEPH O. SCHMIDT age 67 of Mount Morris, died peacefully on Monday May 23, 2022 at the Teresa House in Geneseo, NY.   He was born the son of Oliver and Ruth (Willis) Schmidt on January 12, 1955 in Rochester, NY.  He worked as a Security Guard in Rochester prior to his retirement.  He loved collecting Eagles and all sports including Wrestling, the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees.

He is survived by his by his 4 sisters Elizabeth (Robert) Knapp, Patricia Soto and Maryjane (Daniel) Stockslader all of Rochester and Margaret Warney of Mount Morris.  Many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Oliver and Ruth Schmidt.

No prior calling.  Services at the Convenience of the family.  Interment Whitehaven Memorial Park, Perinton, NY.  Memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo, NY 14454.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
