JOSEPH J. UVEINO of Perry, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday February 26, 2021 at his home in Mount Morris.  He was born the son of Dominic and Mary (Barnard) Uveino in Batavia, New York.  He married the love of his life Kathryn Winter on June 29, 1962.  He owned and operated Joe Uveino & Son Inc. bulk milk hauling and trucking for over 30 years.  Afterwards, he spent winters in Florida where he was a real estate entrepreneur.   He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Perry, NYS Horse Pullers Association,  Western New York Draft Horse & Pony Club, and a board member of Hemlock Fair.  He was a pioneer inductee and member of the LCAA Wrestling Hall of Fame.  He coached wrestling for many years.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, draft horse shows and pulls, logging and hobby farming with his horses. He also liked car shows and camping.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn, of nearly 59 years.  3 children Angela (Patrick) Munto of Mount Morris, Joan Uveino of Pittsford and Emery (Deborah) Uveino of Perry.  4 grandchildren Anthony (Elizabeth) Munto, Alicia (David) Jackson, Jeffrey Uveino and Elissa Uveino.  2 great grandchildren Daniella and Joseph, brother Andrew Uveino of Gainesville, many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his 2 brothers Nick and Chuck Uveino and sister Myra Sherman.

No prior calling.  Funeral Mass to be held Saturday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, 46 Stanley Street, Mt. Morris.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center., 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642 or Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt.
