JOSEPH J. YOUNG age 81 of Mount Morris, New York, died Sunday September11, 2022 at his home.   He was born the son of James W. and Lucy S. (Gray) Young on January 26, 1941 in Hastings, Pennsylvania.  He married Margaret McClanahan on June 6, 1971.  Prior to his retirement in 1985 he worked at SUNY Geneseo for nearly 20 years.   He was a member CSEA.  He loved to go fishing and watch NASCAR.

He is survived by 2 sons Joseph Young and Thomas (Sol) Young both of Mount Morris.  4 grandchildren Devon, Alysecia, Micah and Elizabeth.  Many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife of nearly 36 years Margaret on June 1. 2007 and 7 sisters and 4 brothers.
