JOSEPHINE KATHERINE PALERMO age 100 of Mount Morris, NY, died Saturday January 14, 2023 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY.   She was born the daughter of Frank and Nancy (Biondolillo) Coniglio on September 22, 1922 in Mount Morris, NY.  She was a lifelong resident of Mount Morris until she moved to Buffalo.  She married Joseph J. "JJ" Palermo on November 15, 1958.  Prior to her retirement she was employed as an Inventory Clerk for Foster-Milburn in Buffalo, New York.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mount Morris.

She is survived by her Son Vincent Joseph Palermo of New Jersey.  1 Granddaughter Valerie (James) Mazars de Mazarin of Virginia, great-granddaughter Josephine, and great-grandson James.  2 Sisters Nancy Maccagnano of Tonawanda and Lucille (Rick) Liberatore of Tonawanda.  Brother Tom (Phyllis) Congilio of Buffalo.  Sister-in-laws Lee Congilio of Buffalo and Anne Coniglio of Niagara Falls.  Many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and many special cousins and friends.  Predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Joseph "JJ" Palermo, 2 sisters Anna DiMaria and Mary Latona, 2 brothers Salvatore and Frank Congilio and 2 brothers-in-law Sam Latona and Andrew Maccagnano.

Friends may call Friday from 3 to 6 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.  Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, Mt.
