JOSEPHINE M. LOMBARDO age 97 of 76 Chapel Street, Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully on Friday August 7, 2020 at her home.  She was born the daughter of Michael and Phyllis (DeGregorio) Zaso on August 21, 1922 in Mount Morris, New York.  She married Dominic "Minnie" Lombardo.  Prior to her retirement she owned and operated Minnie's Soda Bar with her husband for many years.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mount Morris.  She will always be remembered for her hospitality, her cooking and the love of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Dominic "Minnie" in 1993.  She is survived her sister Delores Albanese of Mt. Morris/Arizona, Many nieces and nephews including Michael, Lita, Steve., Rebecca, Tommy and Andrew..  Many dear and loving friends.  For someone who never had children Josie was a "mother" to many. She was a caretaker of many other nieces and nephews, and will be remembered for including and welcoming all into her family .
No prior calling.  Funeral mass to be held Saturday at 11 am at St. Patrick's Church, Reverend Bernard Dan officiating.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt.
