JOSEPHINE C. PALERMO age 91 of Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully on Saturday October 29, 2022 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY.  She was born the daughter of Nunzio and Sarah (Barraco) Coniglio on October 27, 1931 in Dansville, NY.  She married Ignatius "Naish" Palermo on October 28, 1950.  Prior to her retirement in 1989 she worked at the Milne Library at SUNY Geneseo for over 15 years.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris and CSEA.  She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family.  She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years Ignatius "Naish" in 2005

She is survived by her loving daughter Deborah (David) Brown of Mt. Morris.  2 Sisters Gert (Robert) Croston of Rush and Isabelle (Fred) Evangelista of Geneseo.  Beloved Uncle Fred Barraco of Mount Morris.  Several loving Nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends and Staff at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris where she resided for the last 13 years.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, Mt.
