JOSHUA A. IRISH age 70 of York, New York, died Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Elmer and Gladys (Butler) Irish II on May 6, 1947 in Rochester, NY. He married Joan Gaudu on May 23, 1975. Prior to his retirement in 1988 he worked at Rochester Products for over 25 years. He also owned and operated J.A. Irish Carpet Cleaning for many years. He was a member of the Celebrate Family Church in Leicester, NY.


He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 43 years Joan. 4 children David Ransford (Deborah) Cannon of North Carolina, Patrick J. (Jackie) Cannon of Springwater, Todd (Terri) Cannon of Rochester and Colleen Irish of Hamlin. 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Brother Steve (Linda) Irish of Hamlin and 2 sisters Joanne Irish of Rochester and Eileen (Joe) Stowell of Webster. Many nieces and nephews.


Friends may call Saturday March 24 from 9-11 am at the Celebrate Family Church, 74 Mt. Morris Road (Route 36), Leicester where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am.
