Joyce C. Tantillo age 90 of Mount Morris, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday May 7, 2021 at her home.  She was born the daughter of Gordon and Flora (Aldrich) Farwell on April 5, 1931 in Middleport, New York.  She married Ross Tantillo on October 2, 1952.  Prior to her retirement in 1986 she was employed for Keshequa Central School as an Elementary Teacher at the Dalton School having taught 2 ^nd and 3 ^rd grades for nearly 30 years.  She was a volunteer for several organizations including, Mount Morris Library, Literacy Volunteers, Activities Department at the Livingston County SNF in Geneseo, Victims of Domestic Violence, Chances and Changes and the Mt. Morris PTA.

She is survived 3 children Michael (Laura) Tantillo of Canandaigua, Paul (Orlando Ortiz) Tantillo of Rochester and Alexandra (Douglas) Randolph of Mount Morris.  2 Grandchildren Matthew (Rebecca) Tantillo and Jonathan (Mallory) Tantillo both of Rochester.  3 Great Grandchildren Bridget, Jack and Molly.  3 nieces Rebecca Straka, Diane Straka and Patricia (Jim) Mann and Nephew David (Doris) Genco.  She was predeceased by her Husband Ross in 2003 and Sister Linda Straka.

No prior calling.  Services will be held at the Convenience of the Family.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Mt. Morris Library, 121 Main St., Mt.
