JULIANNE DUDLEY age 97 of Nunda, New York, died peacefully on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at her home in Nunda, NY.  She was born the daughter of William and Dorothy (O'Donnell) Sanford on March 1, 1927 in Portage, NY.  She married Richard Dudley on February 3, 1951.  Prior to her retirement she owned and operated North Star Automotive in Dansville, NY with her husband for many years.  She also was a teacher at Hammondsport, Geneseo and Keshequa Schools.  She was a member and former Pianist at Holy Angels Church in Nunda. She was the former President of the Keshequa School Board, The Dalton Gang Square Dancing Club, the Business and Professional Women's Club and belonged to several card playing groups.  She loved music, dancing and spending time with her family.

She is by survived 3 daughters Kristin Smith of Geneseo, Mary Jo (Jim Ferwerda) Dudley of Ithaca and Lisa (Jerry) Cox of Brockport and 5 sons William (Lorraine) Dudley of Florida, James (Barbara) Dudley of Conesus, Richard Dudley II of Nunda, Brian (Jacinda) Dudley of Livonia and Donald (Tamara) Dudley of Penfield.  19 Grandchildren Ryan (Karen) & Drew (Mary) Smith, Kyle (Scott) Wixted, Gregory, Caitlin and Melissa Dudley, Sophia and Gabriel Ferwerda, Aaron, Daniel (Christy Carlson) and Emaleigh Dudley, Garrett and Connor Cox, Ivy, Jun, Gwendolyn, Faye, Cullen and Hannah Dudley and 5 Great Grandchildren Nolan and Cora Smith, Teddy, Annabelle and Archie Wixted.  Brother Robert (Lily) Sanford of Arizonia.  Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.  She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 70 years Richard in 2020, 3 children Gerard, Janice and David and 2 daughters-in-law Michele and Pamela.

Friends may call Friday February 7th from 4 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, NY.  Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 am at Holy Angel's Church, Nunda, NY.
