KENNETH C. "Buck" SAUNDERS age 79 of 6888 Mount Morris-Nunda Road, Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully Sunday February 16, 2014 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Francis "Sandy" & Eunice (George) Saunders on August 2, 1934 in Warsaw, NY. He married Sheila Haywood on August 24, 1957. Prior to his retirement in 1989 he was a Supervisor of the Sign Department for New York State DOT in Lakeville for over 30 years.

He is survived by 4 children Kevin (Gretchen) Saunders of Mt. Morris, Kimberlen (Nicholas Jr.) LoVerde of Piffard, Laurie (Bud) Howe and Larry Saunders both of Mount Morris. 8 Grandchildren Brian, Amber, Savannah, Matilyn, Kenneth, Brenelle, Nicholas and Nickie. 4 Great Grandchildren. Brother Donald (Karen) Saunders of NV. 4 sisters Marilyn (Bernie) Moore of Rochester, Sandy (Bruce) Weber of NM, Delores (Bill) Catherman of FL and Linda Bennett of NC. Brothers and Sisters-in-laws. Many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Max. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila in 1988.

Friends may call Tuesday from 2-6 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6 pm. Pastor Jerry Swain officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday May 24 at 10 am at Mount Morris Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center.
