KENNETH L. MIDDLETON age 77 of Mount Morris, NY, died Wednesday January 12, 2022 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, NY.  He was born the son of Kenneth and Mary (Rapone) Middleton on September 4, 1944 in Caledonia, NY.  He married Mary Ann Valentino on July 22, 1961.  Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Harness Racing operation at his home in Mount Morris for many years.  He also owned and operated the Ridge Restaurant for nearly 10 years.  He was a member of the Harness Racing Association at Batavia Downs and Buffalo Raceway and St. Patrick's Church.   He was an avid Pool player, loved the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years Mary Ann, 2 daughters Rosemary (Louis) Russo of Batavia and Joanne Somers of Mt. Morris.  3 Grandchildren Mike (Bobbi Jo) Bonefede and Joseph Layland both of Leicester and Jerrett Laskett of Batavia.  7 great grandchildren Alexis, Parker, Lillian, Sophia, Faith, McKenna and Klayton.  Sister Pat (Carmen) Cappotelli of Caledonia.  Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his daughter Mary Kenny Layland in 2011 and sister Georgianna Dellas.

Friends may call Sunday 1 to 3 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.  Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Church, Mt. Morris.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers.  Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.  Sign the online registry at
