KRISTINE MAGDELE HAGEN, age 81 of Geneseo, NY and formerly of Singapore and Guam, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 17, 2025. She was born the daughter of Arne and Hazel (Gibson) Eikedahl on November 25, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. She married Gunnar Hagen on August 1, 1970 and both were blessed with the love of a lifetime for nearly 55 years.

Kristine had a 35 year career teaching music and elementary school in Illinois, Singapore, Philippines, and Guam. She was passionate about service to her Church and always thinking about how to make life a little brighter for those around her. She had a heart of gold for any animal she came across. Her favorite thing was being her daughters' biggest supporter. She was deeply loved and she returned that love and friendship tenfold.

Kristine had a lifelong appreciation for music shaped by her early music experiences with her mother who was a piano teacher. Kristine was a piano and violin aficionado and even had the opportunity to play the violin for the King of Norway. Music filled her home and she was always humming, singing, or dancing to a beat.

Kristine will be , in the hearts of many, including her loving Husband Gunnar, 3 beloved daughters Inger-Lise (Vicente "Ben") Ogo of Guam, Kristi (Joe) Bauer of Leicester NY, and Lise (Alex) Snow of Massachusetts. She will also live on through her 5 cherished Grandchildren, Viara and Vinry Ogo, Joseph and Zachary Bauer, and Grant Snow; as well as special family friend Erlinda Valencia, and countless extended family and friends around the world. She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents.

Kristine will be honored by her family in the memories and love that they will carry with them always. Feel free to share any special memories or pictures as we celebrate her life.
