LARRY J. WALSWORTH age 82 of Nunda, New York, died Wednesday July 9, 2025 at UR/Noyes Medical Center in Dansville, New York. He was born on December 24, 1942 in Nunda, New York.  He married Donna Garwood on December 23, 1967.  He served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-69.  Prior to his retirement in 2004 he was the Department of Public Works Superintendent for the Village of Nunda for nearly 32 years. He was a life resident of Nunda.  He was a member of the Garwoods United Methodist Church, CSEA, Life member of both the Canaseraga American Legion and the Nunda VFW, Hornell Moose Club.  Larry was a 62 year member of the Nunda Fire Department having served as Chief several times, Livingston County Chiefs Association, Livingston County VFA, Western New York Firemen's Association and FASNY.  He enjoyed his Antique car and going to Car Shows and refinishing wood and furniture.

He is survived by his wife of over 57 years Donna and his daughter Beth (David) Mossworth of Henrietta.  Several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his beloved maternal grandparents Ethel and George Walsworth.

No prior calling.  A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Burial in Jones Cemetery, Creek Road, Nunda, New York.  In lieu of flowers.  Memorials may be made to the Nunda Ambulance Fund, 4 South State Street, Nunda, NY 14517 or Sully and the Ladies in Pink, 9605 Nunda Dalton Road, Dalton, NY 14836.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
