LAWRENCE "LARRY" R. GERACE age 72 of Mount Morris, died suddenly Wednesday December 25, 2019 at his home in Mount Morris, NY. He was born the son of Lawrence and Elosie (Duryea) Gerace on July 9, 1947 in Nunda, New York. He graduated from Mount Morris Central School. He served in the Navy from 1973 to 1977. He married Antonia Camacho on June 26, 1978. Prior to his retirement in 2007 he was employed at Groveland Correctional Facility for over 27 years. He was a member of the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association, Mount Morris American Legion and St. Patrick's Church.

He is survived by his son Ross (Michelle) Gerace and 2 grandsons Gavin Michael and Liam Matthew Gerace all of Mount Morris. Sisters Vickie Blair, Joette Zangerle and Melody Leone all of Mount Morris. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends. He was predeceased by his wife Antonia in 2018, parents Larry and Elosie Gerace, brothers Gary and Michael and sister Rosalie Nasca.

No prior calling. Memorial mass to be held Monday, December 30 at St. Patrick's Church, Mount Morris at 10 am. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to your favorite children's charity.
