LEONARD P. DIDAS Jr., 87 of Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.  He was born the son of Leonard P. and Ruby (Borden) Didas Sr. on January 9, 1935 in Rochester, NY.  He married Phyllis LaChuisa on April 21, 1956.  He grew up on the Didas Farms in Mount Morris and then eventually took ownership in the family farm.  Prior to his retirement is 2019 he owned and operated Mt. Morris Dairy Farms. In. in Mount Morris for over 50 years.  He was a member of St. Patrick's Church.  He was a former Mount Morris Town Councilman for many years.  He loved building model ships, gardening and doing landscaping around his home.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 66 years Phyllis.  4 children Rhonda (James) Noether of Mount Morris, Mark (Sylvia) Didas of Scottsville, Chris (Marilyn) Didas and Kelly (Brad) Tonkery both of Mt. Morris.  10 Grandchildren Danielle, Denise, Jimmy, Chan, Holly, Eric, Ian, Brian, Amber and Gwendolyn and 8 Great Grandchildren Bryan, Hannah, Bryson, Jacob, Ella, Nolan, Zadyn and Quinn.  1 brother Stephen (Susan) Didas of Medina. 3 Sisters June Jones of Canandaigua, Elaine (Peter) Scalia of Rochester and Mary Lou (Frank) Martello of Mt. Morris.  Many nieces, nephews, Cousins and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Leonard Sr. and Ruby Didas.

Friends may call Friday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10 am.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers.  Memorials may be made to the Livingston County CNR, 11 Murray Hill, Drive, Mt.
