Leslie Case, 65, of Mount Morris, NY, passed away May 2, 2019. She was born to the late Milton (Ken) and Barbara Arrow, January 22, 1954, in Binghamton, NY.  Leslie graduated from Susquehanna Valley High School in 1972 and received a BS in Education from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1992, followed by a MS in Education in 2004.

Leslie was a special education teacher for many years before taking a teaching position with the State of New York. She worked there for 19 years before retiring in August 2018.  Leslie was very excited to have retired and was looking forward to the extra time to be with those she loved.

Leslie was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Barbara Arrow; her brother, Kerry Arrow; her granddaughter, Brianna Brockner; her son-in-law, Nicholas Brockner; and cherished pets, Sadie, Adrian, and Daisy.

Leslie is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Sarah and Jason Bruner, of McCordsville, IN and Jennifer and Justin Chrysler, of Cary, NC; her siblings: Pamela Galus, Denise Shayka and Mark Arrow; her five grandchildren: Hailey, Everett, Carley, Arden and Freya; her love, Tom Fitzsimmons; and her beloved dog, Lulu.

Leslie loved going for walks with Lulu and Tom, especially through Letchworth Park. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed the views of the gorge while walking on the trails.  Leslie loved all animals and took time to care for birds, cats and other animals that found their way to her home.

Leslie also enjoyed cooking, baking and making delicious treats to share with family and friends. She loved ice cream and was known to keep several flavors on hand at all times. Leslie also volunteered to be Mrs. Claus each year for the local annual Children's Christmas party, which she thoroughly enjoyed doing.

Anyone who knew Leslie, knows that she loved Sylvester Stallone and the Rocky movies. The theme song was an inspiration to her to persevere. She loved it so much, she named two cats, Rocky and Balboa, and named her dog, Adrian.

Leslie was immensely proud of her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to play games and pretend with her grandchildren. Time with "Granma" was always the best time. Leslie was full of joy and love and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Leslie's legacy isn't in her education, her career or any of her accomplishments. Her legacy is her love. Leslie was such a caring, considerate, kind, and compassionate person. She was always thinking of others and she taught us all to do the same. The love our family shares today began with the love that she gave.  We are so thankful for her time with us and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel Street (Route 408), Mount Morris, NY.  Afterward, the family invites everyone to gather at Leslie's favorite park, Letchworth State Park, at the enclosed shelter (North Highbanks) by the north pool and playground on the Mount Morris side.  Please sign the online registry at
