LEWIS P. SCHORNSTEIN Saturday, June 27, 2020 at age 76 in Geneseo, New York.  Predeceased by his parents Lewis Sr. and Helen.  Survived by his wife Linda; children, Dave (Lynn) Isaman and Carin (Oliver) McAbee; siblings Lora (Mark) Grinder and Richard (Kathy) Schornstein.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday June 30 at Grace Cemetery in Castile.  All are welcome. Masks and social distancing is required.

Lew was a track coach, teacher of Social Studies, Business, and Economics, and school administrator in Mt. Morris, NY and at Genesee Valley BOCES.  In his retirement, he taught History and English and served as a consultant at the Yeshiva of Rochester.

In his spare time, Lew delivered meals on wheels and volunteered at the community food bank.  He donated annually to the Open Door Mission of Rochester.

Lew was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and teacher to hundreds and he is missed terribly.
