LINDA M. CANARY, age 72, of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.  She was born the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Estruch) Passamonte on January 29, 1952, in Dansville, New York.  Linda graduated from Mount Morris Central and went on to marry her high school sweetheart and have four children she cherished.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Chet, her constant companion.  She was a loving mother to her children: Krista Scorsone (Mike Zuscik) of Denver, Colorado; Dennis (Anna Bowne) Canary of Rochester; Stephen (Hannah) Canary of Mount Morris; and Tom (Katherine) Canary of Orlando, Florida.  Her four grandchildren, Jackson, Benjamin, Isaac, and Kennedy, brought her immense joy.  Her brother Joseph Passamonte and many dear cousins and friends also mourn her loss.  She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Mary Passamonte, and her brother, David Passamonte.

No prior calling.  The funeral mass will be on Monday, July 1, at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, 46 Stanley Street, Mount Morris.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mount Morris.  Memorials made to Wilmot Cancer Center, University of Rochester Medical Center.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
