LINDA W. (WINTERS) CANNON age 83 of Hawthorn Circle, Geneseo formerly of Mount Morris, died peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Teresa House in Geneseo, NY. She was born the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Curran) Winters on January 4, 1936 in Warsaw, NY. She graduated from Mt. Morris Central in 1953 and Alfred State College in 1955. She married James R. Cannon on September 7, 1957. Prior to her retirement in 1992 she was employed as a Librarian at the Mount Morris Library for over 11 years. She is a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish having attended both St. Patrick's in Mt. Morris and St. Mary's in Geneseo. She also was a member of the Rosary Society, the Red Hats and volunteered at the Teresa House for over nine years.

She is survived by her four children Geoffrey (Lisa) Cannon of Latham, Cathleen (David) Webster of Fayetteville, Diane Cannon of Geneseo, and Scott (Diana) Cannon of Geneseo. Grandchildren Bonnie, Matthew, David, Katherine, Tyler, Marissa, John, Elliott and Daniel. Great Granddaughter Quinn. Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1999.

No prior calling. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church. Reverend Edward Dillon officiating. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.
