LUCY M. (Boyd) AUSTIN age 91 of Nunda, NY, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday December 18, 2021 at her home.  She was born the daughter of Alvin and Dolly (Sanford) Boyd Sr. on November 22, 1930 in Mount Morris, NY.  Prior to her retirement she worked as a switchboard operator at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for many years.  She was a member of the Village Baptist Church in Mt. Morris.  She was an avid quilter, flower gardener, she loved to bake and read and always working on her family farm.

She was predeceased by her first husband Gordon Martin in 1980 and 10 brother and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of over 28 years Richard Austin.  Sons Jim (Pam) Martin, Fred (Victoria) Martin and daughters Nancy (Mike) Lunduski and Janice (Keith) Donovan.  12 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.  Brothers Alvin (Gail) Boyd Jr. and Carl Boyd and Sister Helen Uptegrove.  Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.
