LUCY A. LO VERDE age 83 of Mount Morris, New York, died Monday April 24, 2017 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. She was born the daughter of Augustine and Giouaneen (Catarra) Cichelli on July 20, 1933 in Retsof, NY. Prior to her retirement in 1996 she was employed as an Executive Secretary at Livingston/Wyoming ARC in Geneseo for nearly 20 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church.


She is survived by her 5 children Nicholas (Kim) LoVerde Jr. of Piffard, John LoVerde of Texas, Dean (Maria) LoVerde of Penfield, Renee (Rex) Proctor of Honeoye Falls and Annette LoVerde of Mt. Morris. 8 Grandchildren Brenelle (Mike), Nickie, Nicholas III, Alec, Dina, Alexander, Austin, Andrew and Great Granddaughter Lucy May. Sister Nina (Joseph) LaGeorge of Mt. Morris, 2 brothers Leo (Josephine) Cichelli Sr. of Cuylerville and John (Anne) Cichelli of Retsof. Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Rita, Nellie and Dollie and brothers Louis and Alex and beloved niece Janet LaGeorge.


Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where prayers will be said Friday at 9 am followed by a funeral mass at St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 am.
