Margie L. Gates age 57 of Nunda, NY died Monday July 13, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.  Margie was born the daughter of the late Leonard and Zola Faye (Brooks) Campbell on October 3, 1962 in Upland, California.  Margie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Michael R. Gates.  They were married on June 29, 1980 at Chapel of the Wildwoods in Upland California.  She was the Bookkeeper – Accountant for Mikes Maintenance and Truck Repair Service in Mt. Morris for many years prior to retiring.  Margie loved to play online games.  She enjoyed puzzle solving, gardening and family camping trips to the Adirondack's and spending time with her grandchildren.

Margie was predeceased by two sisters, Kay Pearson formerly of California and Georgia Osburn-Yoak, formerly of Kentucky and nephew Frank Reed.

In addition to her husband Michael R. Gates, Margie is survived by her daughters, Melody J. Gates (Ryan Howe) of Piffard, Melissa Faye Gates of Long Beach, California and Monica L. Gates (Nate Close) of Nunda, two grandchildren; Levi M. Bauch and Willow J. Moore, two sisters; Lynette (Ron) Carroll of Texas and Alice Williams of Delaware, a nephew; Jack Reed of Oklahoma and a niece; Aubria Kindle-Williams,  as well as many other beloved family and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and at the family's request, Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Mt. Morris Cemetery.  Arrangements by the John W. Martin Funeral Home, Mount Morris, New York
