MARY JANE COLE age 70 of 51 Stanley Street, Mount Morris, formerly of Sonyea, died suddenly Tuesday January 29, 2019 at her home. She was born the daughter of Vincent and Dorothy (Balantic) Dilthey on February 19, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York. She married John L. Cole III on September 25, 1974. Prior to her retirement in 1990 she was employed as a Special Education Teacher at Cobleskill High School.

She is survived by 3 Children Steven (Erica) Cole of Mt. Morris, Elizabeth (Joseph) Lapiana of Sonyea and Katherine Cole of East Bloomfield. 4 grandchildren Caden Pickett, Gage Cole, Averie Matson and Carter Lucas. She was predeceased by her husband John L. Cole III in 2010.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday April 13th from 11 am - 4 pm at 7156 State Route 36 in Sonyea, NY. Memorials may be made to Catholic Charities of Livingston County.
