MARY ANN MIDDLETON age 77 of Mount Morris, NY, died Saturday July 6, 2024 at Isles Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, Florida.  She was born the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Macaluso) Valentino on October 22, 1946 in Dansville, NY.  She married Ken Middleton on July 22, 1961.  Prior to her retirement in 2008 she worked at Craig Developmental Center and Finger Lakes DDSO for over 34 years, she also owned and operated the Ridge Restaurant for nearly 10 years with her husband Ken.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, CSEA and the Red Hats.  She loved playing cards, going to the casino and horses.

She is survived by her 2 daughters Rosemary (Louis) Russo of Batavia and Joanne Somers of Florida.  3 Grandchildren Mike (Bobbi Jo) Bonefede and Joseph Layland and Jerrett Laskett.  7 great grandchildren Alexis, Parker, Lillian, Sophia, Faith, McKenna and Klayton.  Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Ken in 2022, her daughter Mary Kenny Layland in 2011 and her parents Joseph in 1996 and mother Rose in 2017.

Friends may call Sunday July 14 from 1 to 3 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, Mt. Morris.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Hospital.  Sign the online registry at
