MARY ELLEN (DOUGLASS) ROWLEY age 83 of 4756 York Road, Leicester, New York, died Friday February 15, 2013 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. She was born the Daughter of John and Evelyn (Horton) Douglass on July 25, 1929 in Cuylerville, New York. She married Herbert Rowley on October 28, 1950. Prior to her retirement in 1984 she was employed as a Senior Account Clerk at the State University of New York at Geneseo for over 18 years where she was recognized with several awards for her accomplishments. She attended the LaGrange Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her loving and devoted Husband of over 60 years Herbert in 2010. She is survived by her 2 brothers John "Butch" (Sharon) Douglass of Florida and Gerald "Bud" (Shirley) Douglass of Nunda. Sister-in-law Betty Ellen Case of Warsaw. Many Loving nieces and nephews and a special friend Lois.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2-5 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 5pm.
