Mary Hughes Taravella age 88 of Tucson, Arizona formerly of 4 Glen Morris Avenue, Mount Morris, died Sunday January 15, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born the daughter of Thomas and Barbara (Haas) Hughes on December 15, 1928 in Mount Morris, NY. She married Samuel Taravella on September 26, 1948. Prior to her retirement in 1985 she was employed as a Programs Clerk for the USDA office in Leicester for nearly 30 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Tucson, AZ. She was a former member of St. Patrick's Church in Mount Morris, the Thursday Night Ladies League at Keshequa Golf Club and was a Avid Bowler..


She is survived by her loving Daughter Barbara (Donald) Stein of LeRoy. Grandchildren Jennifer Stein of Arizona and Jonathan Stein of Colorado. 1 Sister-in-law Florence DiGioia of Mt. Morris. Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel in 1995.
