MARY E. VAN SICKLE age 81 of 1605 Cheese Factory Road, Dalton, NY, died peacefully Sunday June 10, 2018 at her home in Dalton. She was born the daughter of Leon and Orsina (Underwood) Spike on June 1, 1937 in Canaseraga, NY. She married Ronald Van Sickle on January 19, 1957. She was a former social member of the Canaseraga American Legion. She loved her family, friends Hummingbirds. She also enjoyed Cooking, Gardening and Canning.


She is survived by her loving 5 Children Keith (Kim) Van Sickle of Tennessee, Linda (Norman) May of Warsaw, Betty Van Sickle of Dalton, Ronald "Lynn" (Linda) Van Sickle of Mt. Morris and Gene Van Sickle of Dalton. 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. 3 Sisters Barbara, Gerri and JoAnn and 5 Brothers James, Thomas, Richard, Danny and Charles. Many nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear and loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald on October 21, 2012.


Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Graveside Services will be held Thursday at 11 am at Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, NY with Paul Palmer officiating. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to your Charity of Choice.
