MICHAEL "Mike" BATTAGLIA age 78 of Rochester, New York formerly of Mount Morris, died Tuesday February 3, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.  He was born the son of Carmen and Rosalia (Trubia) Battaglia on April 6, 1947 in Dansville, New York.  He worked as a teacher at Dansville Central School where he taught 4 and 5th grades and retired as a Math Teacher in New York City for many years.  He was a member of the New York City School Teachers Association He enjoyed dining out and going to the casinos with his friends.

He is survived by several cousins and many dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Carmen and Rosalia Battaglia and his brother Daniel Battaglia.
