MICHAEL R. LOVERDE age 84 of 12 Glen Morris Avenue, Mount Morris, NY, entered into eternal rest on Friday January 10, 2025 at UR/ Noyes Medical Center in Dansville, NY. He was born the son of Mariano and Nellie (Palma) LoVerde on March 9, 1940 in Warsaw, NY. He married Loretta Grossi on June 15, 1963. Prior to his retirement in 2004 he was employed at Rochester Gas and Electric in Geneseo for 37 years having started his employment with Pavilion Natural Gas. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, 63 year member of the Mount Morris Fire Department, former Mount Morris Police Officer and member of both Keshequa and Woodlyn Hills Golf clubs. Mike enjoyed golfing, being an avid Buffalo Bills Fan and drinking coffee with his McDonalds Coffee Club friends.

Loving father of Laurie (Charles) Latona, Lisa (Sam) D'Agostino and Brenda (John) Vogel, all of Mount Morris. Cherished Grandfather of Joshua & Noah Geraci, Brandie (Steven) Piraino, Amber (Tyler) Parrott and Sarah (Brennan Bastedo) Latona. Great Grandfather of Addyson, Halli, Alivia, Amelia, Gage, Elijah, Emerson and Michael. Brother of Mary Vattimo of Geneseo, Rose Moyer and Mariano LoVerde of Mount Morris. Several nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends. He was predeceased by his wife Loretta in 2014, Sister Nancy Follett and Brother Nicholas LoVerde.

Michael spent his retirement leisurely. Often seen joking with friends during coffee hours, and spending time with family. He loved a friendly, but competitive game of golf, late night card games with his daughters and son-in-laws, watching his favorite shows, supporting the Buffalo Bills, and McDonald's trips with his great grandchildren. Living his life to the fullest with a "let it be" attitude. He will be missed by so many.

Friends may call Saturday January 18 from 11 am – 1 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 pm.
