MICHAEL A. MUNTO SR. age 56 of Rochester, formerly of Mount Morris, died peacefully on Monday March 18, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Patsy and Mabel (Bell) Munto on May 1, 1962 in Dansville, New York. He graduated from Mount Morris Central in 1981. He was employed at Sutherlands in Henrietta for many years. He enjoyed his family and friends and loved his Jeep Adventures.

He is survived by his 2 loving children Amanda (Shawn Hammond) Munto of Rochester and Michael A. Munto Jr. of Fillmore. 2 Grandchildren Coen and Henley Munto both of Fillmore. Brother Patrick J. (Angela) Munto of Mt. Morris, 4 sisters Cindy (Mike) Barone of Hamburg, Louise (Jim) Royce of Perry, Gert (Steve) Hoffman of Mt. Morris and Mary (Mark) Pellicane of Geneseo. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Mabel Munto in 1993 and Patsy Munto in 2015.

Friends may call Friday from 3 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am.
