Nancy DeMarco Lamare, 69 died peacefully at the home of her brother surrounded by loved ones on June 14, 2023. She was born and raised in Newark, NY but lived the majority of her adult life in Monmouth Maine.

She loved words (which is why she was an awesome Scrabble player!), Sudoku, hockey, football, NY Yankees, baking Italian goodies using recipes from her Grandmothers, all animals and spending time with her family. She was smart and funny, with an iron will and a strong, stubborn personality. If you didn't want to know what she really thinks about something, don't ask her!!

She is survived by her brother Joey (Jeni), daughter Cynarra, Grandchildren Nikki, Marissa, Emily and Josh and great-grand children Dhayman, Lilli, and Mikey.

Predeceased by her parents, Joe and Virginia (Celso) DeMarco and Husband Herman "Punkin" Lamare.
