P. GERALD SCORSONE age 75 of Murray Street, Mount Morris, died Monday April 9, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Ignatius and Mary (Trubia) Scorsone on April 22, 1942 in Dansville, NY. He married Judy Dukelow on May 5, 1962. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968 having earned the Silver Star and several other medals of valor. Prior to his retirement he Owned and Operated Peter's Party Complex (Formerly Peter's Charcoal House) in Leicester for over 40 years. . He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, International Food Service Executives Association where he served as International President, VFW, Honorary Member of the Cuylerville Sportsman Club as well as several other Public and Civic organizations.


He was predeceased by his wife Judy on Aug. 3, 2016 and daughter Janice Marie in 1962. He is survived by 2 Sons Anthony (Tina Clancy) Scorsone of Leicester and Michael (Alison) Scorsone of Winter Garden, Florida. Sister Joanna Bard of Ithaca. Nieces, nephews and many dear friends including Stacy Campbell Strain.


No prior calling. Funeral mass to be held Friday at St. Patrick's Church at 11 am. Interment with military honors at St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers.
