PHYLLIS (LaChuisa) DIDAS, age 87 of Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by her family on Saturday May 11, 2024 in her home. She was born the daughter of Ray and Elizabeth (Finitz) LaChuisa on February 12, 1937 in Mount Morris, NY.  She married Leonard Didas Jr. on April 21, 1956.  She was previously a member of St. Patrick's Church for many years, where she was a member of the choir. She most recently attended Grace and Truth Church in Groveland, NY.

She is survived by her 3 loving children: Mark(Sylvia) Didas of Caledonia, Chris(Marilyn) Didas and Kelly(Bradley) Tonkery both of Mt. Morris. 9 Grandchildren Danielle, Denise, Jimmy, Chan, Holly, Eric, Brian, Amber and Gwendolyn and 8 Great Grandchildren Bryan, Hannah, Bryson, Jacob, Ella, Nolan, Zadyn and Quinn. Sister Elvira(Robert) Lauffer of Albany. and Brother-in-law Stephen(Susan) Didas of Medina. 2 Sisters-in-law, Elaine(Peter) Scalia of Rochester and Mary Lou (Frank) Martello of Mt. Morris.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Jr. in 2022 and daughter Rhonda Noether in 2023, sister Elizabeth Bennett and her parents Elizabeth and Ray LaChuisa.

She enjoyed spending winters in Florida, playing golf, playing guitar and time with her family.

No prior calling, Services at the convenience of the family.  Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mt.
