PHYLLIS L. (Halpenny) HARCLEROAD age 97 of 6966 Dutch Street Road, Mount Morris, died Friday December 29, 2017 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, New York. She was born the daughter of Bruce and Edna (Strapp) Halpenny on May 23, 1920 in Avon, NY. She married William Harcleroad on June 4, 1939. She was a member of the Village Baptist Church in Mount Morris.


She is survived by 10 children William (Ann) Harcleroad Jr. of Oneonta, James (Kathleen) Harcleroad of Tuscarora, David (Elaine) Harcleroad of Mt. Morris, Phil (Brenda) Harcleroad of Tennessee, Sue (David) Barber of Mt. Morris, Gerrie Lyness of York, Estella (Jeff) Catlin of Mt. Morris, Dianna (Howard) Speechley of Pavilion, Paul (Cheryl) Harcleroad of York and Paula (Frank) Dieter of Hornell. Many Grand, Great and Great-Great Grandchildren. Sister Edna Roch of Maine and brother Clifford Halpenny of Tuscarora. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Sr. in 1991, 2 children Bruce and Juanita, 2 grandsons Josh and Brian and 1 great grandson Augustine J. Cichelli.


Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 7 pm.
