RICHARD L. CORK SR. age 67 of Mount Morris, died suddenly on Saturday October 7, 2023 at his home.  He was born the son of Leland and Dora (Pfuntner) Cork on July 25, 1956 in Dansville, New York.  He married Deborah Regatuso on August 23, 1974.  He served in the Marines from 1974 to 1977.  Prior to his retirement he was an operator for Power construction in Scottsville and had formerly worker for Pooler Construction.   He loved to go hunting and fishing and playing pool with other veterans.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 49 years Deborah.  3 children Richard L. Cork Jr. of Nunda, Jacob W. (Melissa) Cork of Livonia and Danielle (Clifford) Flint of Nunda.  9 grandchildren Lauren, Lindsey, Leslee, Lexie, Landon, Jaydan, Josalynn, Paisley and Ari.  1 Great grandson Grayson.  Mother-in-law Sarah Palma of Mount Morris.  3 sisters Debbie Cork-Avolin of North Carolina, Shirley Christiano of Dansville and Francine Panipinto of Livonia.  1 sister-in-law Christine (John) Burns of Dansville.  Many nieces, nephews and dear and living friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Leland and Dora Cork, Brother Harold "Buddy" Cork, Uncle Harold Pfuntner and father-in-law Jack Palma.
