RICHARD L. "BUD" HAMILTON age 88 of Jones Bridge Road, Leicester, New York, died peacefully on Thursday February 28, 2019 at his home in Leicester. He was born the son of William and Marion (McClurg) Hamilton on November 22, 1930 in Perry, New York. He married Mildred "Millie" Jacobs on December 8, 1951. He served in the Army from 1954 to 1962. Prior to his retirement he was employed at AKZO Salt Mine in Retsof for 44 years. He was a member of the Leicester Presbyterian Church. He was a former Town and Village Trustee in Leicester for 37 years.

He is survived by 3 Children Debbie (Joe) Becker of Caledonia, Jane (Peter) Dulmage of Geneseo and Mark (Melissa McCracken) Hamilton of Stafford. 9 Grandchildren Robert (Tracy) Quait, Melisa (Jeremy) Palmer, Amy (Harry) Swift, Wendy Woloson, Meghan (Justin) Curley, Madison (Keith Mikoleit) Dulmage, Brooke (Gregg) Nasso, Ashley (Natalie Sylvester) Hamilton and Corey (Andrew McCaslin) Hamilton. 12 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of over 64 years Mildred "Millie" in 2016.

Friends may call Sunday from 12 - 2 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where funeral Services will be held Sunday at 2 pm.
