ROBERT DANIEL "Dan" HUGHES Jr. age 78 of Mount Morris, New York, died Monday July 31, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.   He was born the son of Robert Daniel and Evelyn (Green) Hughes Sr. on January 10, 1945 in Morgantown, West Virginia.  He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.  He married Vicky Lute on June 30, 1979.  Prior to his retirement he was the Manager at the Geneseo Cinema in Geneseo, New York.  He was a member of the American Legion.  He loved his grandchildren, wood working watching movies and his Mini Collection of Theaters.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years Vicky.  2 children Pam (Don) Martin of Mt. Morris and Julie (Chuck) Reed of Florida.  8 Grandchildren Brandon M., Steven, Justin, Peyton, Ethan, Brandon S., Jennifer and Zach.  3 Great Grandchildren Lily, Asher and Madelyn.  2 sisters Cathy Wade and Nancy Hughes both of Pennsylvania.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Robert Sr. and Evelyn.
