ROBERT W. "Bob" STEVENS Jr. age 75 of Mount Morris, New York, died Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.  He was born the son of Robert Sr. and Virginia (Best) Stevens on December 26, 1947 in Fulton, New York.  He served in the Navy from 1969 to 1973. He graduated from RIT with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He married the love of his life Elizabeth "Smidge" Timanus on July 20, 1968. He met Smidge at Auburn Community College where he was a Junior College All American Soccer Fullback. He was the National Sales Manager for PSI based out of Effingham, Illinois for several years. After the birth of his first grandchild he decided he would rather stay home and change diapers. So he began Bob Stevens Associates, a veterinary consulting business in Mount Morris which he owned and ran for 28 years.  He was a member of the United Church of Mount Morris, Hally-Allen American Legion Post # 1341 in Sonyea and an Auxiliary member of the VFW Post # 547 in Mount Morris.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth "Smidge" Stevens, two children Shelly (Todd) White of Dalton and Robert W. "Rhob" Stevens III of Mount Morris.  Grandchildren Carrie White of Mount Morris and Todd "TJ" (Kaitlyn) White Jr. of Dalton and his future great grandchild due in June of 2024.  Brother-in-law Charles (Terri) Timanus of Virginia.  Nieces and nephews including Eddie (Kelli) Timanus of Virginia and their son Evan.  Many dear and loving friends including "That Group".  He was predeceased by an unborn son, his parents Robert and Virginia Stevens and mother and father-in-law Edward and Mary Timanus.

You would always find Bob with a joke and a smile. He loved to golf, fish, and play games, especially poker. He was very proud of being a veteran and of earning his Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank of Scouting. Family was the most important thing to Bob and he loved attending his children and grandchildren's events.  He was always happiest when surrounded by his beloved family and "That Group." Bob was larger than life and the world will be a less fun place without him.

A Celebration of Life with Naval Honors will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 AM at the United Church of Mount Morris with a reception to follow. No prior calling hours. Bob loved watching sports and always wore bright colors. Please wear Buffalo Bills, Alabama Crimson Tide, Syracuse Orangemen or bright colors as opposed to traditional funeral clothing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Morris VFW Post #547 or you are asked to perform a random act of kindness for someone.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
