ROBERT WILLIAM TEETER SR. age 91 of Groveland, New York, died peacefully on Monday July 13, 2026 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, New York.  He was born the son of William and Dorothy (Bennett) Teeter on November 27, 1934, in Groveland, New York.  He served in the Marine Corp from 1958 to 1960.  Prior to his retirement he worked as a chemist at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York.  He was a member was a member of the Berean Bible Church in Groveland Station and the Dansville VFW.

He is survived by his 6 Children Robert Lee Teeter Jr. of Groveland, Ann Marie (Jeff) Teeter of Hamlin, William Teeter of East Rochester, Joseph (Patty) Teeter and Stephen Teeter both of Groveland and Spring (Dave) Teeter of Mount Morris.  7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his wife Celia Dorothy Teeter in 2007.

Friends may call Friday July 17 from 1 to 2:30 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street (Route 408), Mount Morris, New York.  Graveside services at 3 pm with military honors at Lakeview Cemetery, David Gray Hill Road, Groveland New York.  In lieu of flowers.  Memorials may be made to your favorite local Veterans organizations.  Sign the online registry at
