ROGER L. NICHOLSON age 89 of Wayland, New York formerly of Belfast, NY, died Wednesday September 18, 2019 at Vincent House in Wayland, NY. He was born the son of Clarence and Corrine (Rawson) Nicholson on February 23, 1930 in Caneadea, NY. He served in the Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Dresser Rand Corporation in Wellsville for many years. He was a member of Fillmore American Legion Post. He loved to hunt and go fishing.

He is survived by son David Bruce Nicholson of Belfast and daughter Lori Anne Kiley of Wayland. 5 grandchildren Heath, Hollie, Jason, Scott and Jennifer. 10 Great Grandchildren Dessire, David, Kylie, Christa, Rainna, Tyler, Karson, Morgan, Madison and Karmen. Sister Eve Hamilton of Port Yarmouth, Massachusetts. 3 nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Nicholson.

No prior calling. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 2pm at Caneadea Cemetery with military honors.
