ROLAND F. STANLEY JR. age 88 of Mount Morris, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at his home in Mt. Morris. He was born the son of the late Roland F. and Thelma (Nice) Stanley Sr. on October 4, 1933 in Dansville, NY. He was married to Ann (LaChiusa) Stanley on December 26, 1970 who he has been married to for 51 years. He was employed by the former G-M Precast, Burial Vault Co. in Mt. Morris for many years, retiring as the shop Foreman. He was a member of the Genesee Valley Masonic Lodge # 122 F. & A.M. for many years, and was the Sexton of the Mt. Morris Cemetery for many years.

Junior was predeceased by his first wife Sylvia (Zintel) Stanley, a son; Dwayne Stanley, two sisters; Shirley Kenney and Arlene Haehle. He is survived by his wife Ann, his children; Douglas (Lura) Stanley of Sparta, Denise (Cedric) Druce of Conesus Lake, Dawn (Fritz) Kopitzki of Conesus, Darla (Tracy McDonald) Stanley of Groveland, Dean (Betsy Hill) Stanley of Mt. Morris, Deana (Robbie) Ellis of Leicester, Christin (Mike Truax) Valentino of Fairport and Shelley (Brian) Stout of Geneseo. Two brothers; Glenn (Beth) Stanley of California and Kenneth (Rita) Stanley of South Wales, 2 sisters; Cheryl (Roy) Cipolla and Karen (Wesley) Wolcott both of Perry, 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.

Do to the Covid Pandemic, there will be no prior calling hours or services at the present time.  Services may be announced at a later date.  Interment will be in Mt.
