ROSE VALENTINO GENCO age 104 of 6 Erie Street, Mount Morris, New York, died Thursday August 9, 2012 at her home in Mount Morris, NY. She was born the daughter of Lorenzo and Fortunato (Pasquale) Valentino on April 7, 1908 in Cuylerville, New York. She married Joseph Genco of Mount Morris on June 7, 1930. Prior to her retirement in 1970 she was employed as a seamstress at Champion Products in Mount Morris for over 30 years. She had also worked at the TB Hospital in Mount Morris from 1936-39. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mount Morris.

She is survived by 2 daughters Nicolina Mayotte of Rochester and Florence Genco of Mount Morris, 1 son Vincent (Eleanorah) Genco of Oakland, Maryland. 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1989, son-in-law Gene Mayotte and Granddaughter Barbara Mayotte.

Friends may call Friday from 3-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where prayers will be said Saturday at 9 am followed by a Funeral mass at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Church.
