Rose M. Parlavecchio age 92 of Mt. Morris, died Sunday January 12, 2020 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris.  Rose was born on  May 31, 1927 the daughter of the late  Giro (Jerry) and Antonina (Scaletta) Zanghi.  Rose had been employed as a Therapy Aide at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea, NY for many years, where she had retired from.

Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband; James V. Parlavecchio on July 16, 1985, along with her Sisters Josephine Blowers and Mary Saber.  Brothers;  Thomas and Joseph Zanghi, Brothers-in-Law; Sam Parlavecchio and Tony Parlave,  Sisters -in- Law; Rose Macaluso, Josephine Cipolla, Carmella, Mary and Antoinette Parlavecchio,

She is survived by her Children; James J. (Renee) Parlavecchio of Henrietta, NY and

Antoinette(Jeffery) Wells of Marcy, NY; 1 Sister; Frances (Bill) Overholt of Leicester and Sister in Law Sr. Rachel Parlavecchio of Rochester; 6 Grandchildren: Kerianne Parlavecchio of Webster, Nicholas Parlavecchio of Rochester and James V. Parlavecchio of Henrietta; Megan (Anthony) Speranza of Whitesboro, NY, Jeremy (Lynne) Wells of Pittsfield, MA, and Jonathan Wells of  McLean, VA.  3 Great grandchildren: Cadence Speranza of Whitesboro, NY and Penelope and Henry Wells of Pittsfield, MA.

Friends may call Saturday January 18, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon where Funeral Services will follow Calling Hours at 12:00 PM at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street,(Route 408), Mount Morris, NY with the Rev. Eric Scott Officiating.  Interment will immediately follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery,  Mt.
