ROSE J. VALENTINO age 95 of 75 Hopkins Street, Mount Morris, died Saturday September 30, 2017 at the Teresa House in Geneseo, NY. She was born the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Mulley) Macaluso on November 6, 1921 in Mount Morris, NY. She married Joseph Valentino on July 31, 1944. Prior to her retirement in 1980 she was employed as a Supervisor in the Nutrition Department at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for nearly 30 years. She was a lifelong resident of Mount Morris. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and CSEA


She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (Ken) Middleton of Mount Morris. 2 Granddaughters Rose Mary (Louis) Russo & Joanne Somers Middleton of Batavia. 3 Great Grandchildren Michael (Bobbi Jo) Bonefede & Joseph (Cheltsea) Layland of Leicester and Jerrett Laskett of Batavia. 7 Great-Great Grandchildren Alexis, Parker, Lillian, Sophia, Faith, MaKenna & Klayton. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1996 and Granddaughter Mary Layland in 2011.


Friends may call Monday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10 am.
