ROY P. FRANCHI SR. age 78 of 29 Barone Avenue, Mount Morris, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday September 17, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Alfred and Theresa Franchi on February 15, 1940 in Smithtown, Long Island, NY. He married Shirley Price on April 27, 1961. Prior to his retirement he worked at Groveland Correctional Facility as a Vocational Instructor for 35 years. He served in the Lakeland Fire Department in Ronkonkoma, NY. He was in the National Guard and a Judge in Richfield Springs, NY


He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Shirley, Daughters Deborah (Harold) Hill, Antoinette "Marie" (Jeff) Maggio, Theresa (Mike) Floor and son Roy (Diane) Franchi Jr. He was survived by many grand and great grandchildren. Roy dad a big heart and will be remembered and missed by all.
