RUTH B. (BUCHINGER) MOORE age 84 of South Dayton, New York formerly of Dalton, died Wednesday December 18, 2013 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. She was born the daughter of Otto and Margaret (Holmes) Bailey on April 30, 1929 in Genesee Falls, NY. She was a member of the South Dayton Free Methodist Church in South Dayton NY and attended the First Christian Church in Punta Gorda FL. In years past, she was involved with the youth group at the Dalton United Methodist Church and the Girl Scouts in Dalton
She loved her winters spent in Florida which she has done for 18 years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting She enjoyed travel having traveled to many states.

She was predeceased by her first husband Robert Buchinger and 2 brothers Robert and Charles Bailey. She is survived by her Husband Herbert Moore. 2 Childred Marilyn Burroughs and Cecil (Rob White) Buchinger. Step Children Daniel (Sharon) Buchinger, Wayne Moore, Jerry Moore, Jeff (Mary) Moore, Janice Scrivens and Cecil (Teresa) Moore. Several Grandchildred and Great Grandchildren. 5 Sisters Gertrude (Arthur) Ruder, Grace Chamberlain, Margaret Smith, Nancy Bailey and Dorothy (David) Pugh. 2 Brothers James (Donna) Bailey and Harold (Carol) Bailey. Many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral services will be held Saturday at Dalton United Methodist Church in Dalton at 11 am.. Interment Hunts Hollow Cemetery. Sign the online registry at
