RUTH IRENE SCHMIDT age 88 of 6215 Robins Lane, Mount Morris, NY, died Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was born the daughter of Milo and Marion (Cowan) Willis on August 2, 1925 in Rochester, NY. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Coopervison in Scottsville, NY.

She is survived by 5 children Elizabeth (Robert) Knapp, Patricia Soto and MaryJane (Daniel) Stockslader all of Rochester, Margaret Warney and Joseph Schmidt both of Mt. Morris. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren. Sister Mary Decker of Macedon. Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10 am at Whitehaven Memorial Park, Marsh Road, Perinton. Memorials may be made to the Livingston County CNR, 11 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
