SAMUEL "Sam" M. TRIPPI age 78 of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully surrounded by his living family on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at his home.   He was born the son of Salvatore and Nancy (Munto) Trippi on June 6, 1944 in Buffalo, New York.  He was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1969.  He married Nancy Boka DiCola on August 9, 2008.  Prior to his retirement in 2016 he was employed as an Operator at the Water and Sewer Plant for the Village of Mount Morris for over 25 years.  He was a member CSEA, NRA, St. Patrick's Church and 50 year member of the Hally-Allen American Legion Post #1341 in Sonyea, NY.  He was a stamp collector, avid reader and enjoyed hiking.

He is survived by his loving wife Nancy.  5 Children Matthew Trippi of Rochester, Paul (Charity) DiCola of Mt. Morris, Samantha Trippi of Rochester, Nick DiCola of California and Alberto (Alejandra) Delgado of Florida.  3 Grandchildren Jayla, Vera and Aelia.  Sister Roseann Spezzano of Geneseo.  Nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his father Sam in 1982 and mother Nancy in 2005 and brother-in-law Roger Spezzano in 2016.
