SAMUEL J. SCEUSA age 102, of Mount Morris, passed away peacefully at East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw on July 15, 2021.  He was born on March 21, 1919, in the family home on Wadsworth Avenue in Avon, NY.

He lived in Avon, then Livonia until early in 1977 when he and Grace moved to Sarasota, FL...They must have known that the blizzard was coming at the end of the month!  He lived in Sarasota until 1995 when he moved back to the area.  He lived alone until Thanksgiving 2020 and was even still driving.  Ho loved to go visit family and Friends and have family and friends visit him.

He is survived by his son Carl (Barb) Sceusa in Warsaw, son Ross (Mary) Sceusa in Silver Lake, son-in-law Bud O'Meara in Castile, ten grandchildren Mary Ellen (O'Meara) Lyons, Tom O'Meara, Carolyn (O'Meara) Chiappone, Colleen O'Meara, Marilyn (O'Meara) Nichols, Guy (Carolyn) Sceusa, Vicki (Sceusa) Ossont, Heather (Sceusa) Bellinger, Amy (Sceusa) Fisher and Kelly (Sceusa) Bowden, 18 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.  Several nieces and Nephews.  He is predeceased by his wife Grace (LePome) Sceusa in 1994 and daughter Patricia O'Meara in 2014.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where services will be held Wednesday at 7pm.  Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon, NY.  In lieu of flowers.  Memorials may be made to your charity of choice.  Sign the online registry at
